You Can Only Do So Much With Make Up

... or as my Dad used to like to tell me, "You can't shine shit."

Taping started a good half hour late for yesterday's Business Matters. Reason? Purple-tied Mike Schlossberg. I knew there was going to be trouble when they had him up on a lift. Mike's brilliant make-up artist had a real challenge on her hands.

She eventually broke out a few jackhammers and Mike came out looking pretty good.

At least his head does not look like a condom.

This is what I mean when I say Julio does not speak English. Does anyone have any idea what the hell this dude just said?

HA! If this is Julio, it makes perfect sense... not the language, the rationale.

  7. Schlossberg always looks messy, so I hope they also straightened his tie and pressed his suit/shirt!
I think the makeup artist is Gunther's daughter? He talked about it a few times with Tony Ianeli on air.

  8. What I meant is that you are jumping on the Shlossberg bandwagon (Mann seat) and you're giving him exposure or is the girl whom you're after?

    Another reason not to watch.
It is like a bad remake of Deliverence
inbreeding is banned in most states unless you're a member of the GOP

  10. His daughter is a bit crazy, I would tread carefully. I think she is the one gunther hit and was charged. He got the charges dropped. Must have helped her get the job.

  12. Mike always looks pretty good. One thing you have to give the gays, they dress well and have great hygiene.

  13. Following his stellar performance as a City Council member who's first legislative initiative was to author a 'law' that was unconstitutional, Schlossberg is a natural for higher office.

In addition to his youth, which makes him wiser than all around him, he has worked himself into the inner circle of the Mayor, Schweyer and D'Amore. Plus he is a whiz at that that new-fangled social media thing. That and the union connection (passing legislation requiring that all construction by the City be performed at Union wages) makes him a shoe-in.

So keep the name recognition building effort going.
