Wolf Christmas

Daniel Pinkwater's delightful Wolf Christmas, which originally aired on NPR last year, was broadcast again tonight. It's a great short story for all of us, and Pinkwater's narration makes it even better. You can here it here. If you'd prefer to just read it, or better yet, read it to your family, you'll see the narration there, too.

  1. It's too bad wolves are basically killing machines that ravage deer, cattle, and many other animals. They look cute and cuddly but are real killers that even kill just for fun. Cute story though.

  5. I thought "Wolf Christmas" was the wealthy people in the house and senate who voted to cut pell grants.(Strangely a large number of said "reformers" get major "donations" or as it is known in the real world "bribes" from banking institutes who make their bread and butter off of rip-off student loans with insane interest rates).

I mean, don't wolves eat their young?
