Angle Loses Will Appeal

I only know this as a result of a call from Ron Angle yesterday afternoon. As of last night, the opinion was still unavailable on the state webpage. According to Angle, the Superior Court has dismissed his appeal in a will contest over his father's estate. From what I'm told, the appellate court concluded there was insufficient evidence to prove that the signature in the Will being offered by Angle was supported by independent witnesses.

When the Opinion is filed online, I will link to it.

  1. So the Will he produced is a fake.

  2. Say what you want. I'll wait until I see the actual opinion.

  3. Is it possible that the District Atty. would bring charges?

  4. Although anything is possible, that Will dispute is a family matter. There is no evidence that the Will is a fake or that there was any kind of forgery. It was great campaign fodder and really damaged Angle more than anything else, including Gracedale. The PSP investigated this over a year ago, as we all know bc Janet Jackson's letter was leaked to the press. But Angle was never even contacted.

  5. Two wills. One is valid; one is not.

It seems somebody tried to perpetrate a fraud on the court.

  6. That's bc you don't know what you are talking about. Both wills can be completely "valid," but the will that is probated is the one that can be proved. From what I am told, and I have yet to see the Opinion, the witnesses to the will offered by Angle were less independent than the witnesses to the other will. That does not mean that the will offered by Angle is a "fake." If it did, Angle would have been charged long ago. But go ahead and rattle like an empty can.

  7. The witnesses for Angles side were his wife, son, and one of his cows.
No colussion there. I don't see why he lost.

  9. Ron, if the DA does persue legal action. I am here to offer advice that I learned post haste after my incarceration.

    The "angle" of the dangle,
    doesn't always equal,
    the mass of the ass

  10. Ron may wish he'd taken better care of the prison.

  11. The pathetic truth is that this moral crusade for justice by the vanquished one was done solely to deprive an adult disabled nephew from sharing in the remains of a plundered estate. What a repugnant human being. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know, the driving principle was a poor son just trying to upholding the true testamentary intent of father. The intent according to Angle. And who would dispute that given his well earned reputation for dishonesty. Karma is a bitch.

  12. I don't trust anonymous posters for doling out the truth, pathetic or otherwise.

  13. Karma is behind. It can't keep up with Ron Angle.

  15. Let the guy get on with his life. He served for 12 years, agree or disagree with his motives, morality (by your standards) or what have you. Public service is a sacrifice...Ron did his best with what he has been given, as we all do. While I did not support him this time around, it is somewhat sad to see him go, since I often agreed with his positions. Be respectful. He was always respectful and attentive towards me. Thanks for your service Ron you ornery bastard (intended as a term of respect and endearment).

  16. Its nice to hear there was one person that Ron Angle was respectful and asttentive too. Good for you. From the rest of us good riddence

  17. If Ron were arrogant towards you it is probably because you were asking for taxpayer money or challenging him when he knew much more then you, as he does 99% of the time. This is what I see when I go to meetings. How many of you bother to go? Too much trouble I suppose. Everyone is a package. At least his positive side saved the taxpayers money. That is what he was elected to do. Not to make friends. Some of you complain and are so hateful but what have you ever done for the greater good? It's easy to complain but why not put yourself out there and run for something? Then maybe you would be listened to. Talk is cheap.
