You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.
I believe that there is a League WV-sponsored debate in William Twp. for the supervisors race at the Municipal Bldg. at 7 PM on November 1st.
ReplyDeleteAre candidates allowed to post signs on telephone poles or state road signs?
ReplyDeleteAtiyeh has them on both, Corner of Oakland Rd & Hecktown Rd & at Oakland & Rt 191.
8:56, Thanks. If confirmed, will post.
ReplyDelete9:11, Illegal on both.
Osborne for Commissioner. McCarthy for Judge.
ReplyDeleteYou mean Allentown council candidates won't even present their views in a public forum? What does that say about all of them!
ReplyDeleteIt appears there are no events for Easton Mayor. Everyone must remember the childish antics of Krill when the county was trying to set up the 9 1 1 system. UI still remember him walking out of meetings and crying like a little baby.
ReplyDeletePanto has done a great job in Easton and I think their voters are smart enough to know that a) the city is better than it has been in years and b)Krill isn't qualified or even a threat. It would be the very worst thing residents in Easton could do.
