Ella May's Southern Cuisine Comes to Easton's West Ward

Ella May’s Southern Cuisine, 1029 Butler St., Easton, PA 18042, is now officially open for business. It's a mother (Wanda Alleyne) and daughter (Tyiesha Hinton) team, and the restaurant is named in honor of grandmother Ella May. It specializes in homemade fried chicken, pork chops, fish, and southern style desserts at affordable prices.

According to Wanda, “We are so proud and thrilled to have opened a southern cuisine establishment in the West Ward neighborhood of Easton. The potential here (in Easton) was obvious to our family the moment we saw the location. We are here to stay, and we thank everyone for their continued support in making Ella May’s the place to enjoy hearty southern cuisine. Our recipes have been passed from generation to generation.”

  1. Sounds like it might be worth the drive. You might want to look at the new Cherry Hill hotel

  2. I understand Howard picked it up. His diner in Nazareth was the best!

  3. I may die from happiness - the ability to get a decent biscuit in PA is right here!

  4. I thought Kyle Kostenbader and his wife got Cherry Hill. Is Howard the silent money?

Meanwhile, I wish the ladies in West Ward well. As a 'Bama boy, southern cooking is always welcome.

  5. The restaurant is great! They give a very generous portion and the Mac and cheese is too good! They also have ginger beer which I can't find anywhere around Easton as good as this . Keep up the good work.
I will definately be back and bring the family!
