Alan Jennings v. Ron Angle on WDIY

You're not going to believe this, but Alan Jenning's guest tonight on WDIY-FM Lehigh Valley Discourse is none other than the Northampton County Bulldog himself, Ron Angle. What will hgappen when these two, diametrically opposed, type "A", personalities get together? If they touch each other, the universe may end.

The show starts at 6 PM at 88.1, 93.9 and 93.7. You can listen to it live.

  1. Didnt get to listen to it, but wow no comments yet, shocking. Its election time, maybe Ron acted like a gentleman, wait , that would require more lying than normal, well Im sure he could pull it off. He is after all a politician, in which lying is a prerequesite.

  2. It was a great show, the exact opposite of a fast-paced Business Matters. Instead, it was a one our interview with the Bulldog, and I must say Alan asked some excellent questions, some of which I never heard before. In that hour, Alan provided a glimpse of the real man who hides behind so many masks. I think Alan and perhaps even Ron were both surprised.

  3. As a past supporter of The CACLV, I want Mr. Jennings to know I meant "past supporter". I am appalled that Mr. Jennings who knows exactly who and what Ron Angle is, would give him a forum. It is one thing for the Chamber of Commerce to waste their money on giving this guy a place to get his free publicity but I am saddened by Mr. Jennings' decision to "follow the crowd".

Giving a pulpit to a cited anti Semite and bigot is not in the mission statement of the CACLV and I would hope the Board of Directors would admonish Mr. Jennings for this action.

It will have a negative impact on the organization. I will not be contributing this year.

  4. That's a good little Democrat. Or blue-haired, silk-stocking Republican. I'm sure Alan will miss your $5.

  5. Alan caught a lot of shit when he had me as a guest, too. The establishment hates people it can't control.

  6. I listened until about 6:30; a rather cordial conversation. Mr. Angle had some blunt, but not inflammatory, comments about council. Perhaps the post 6:30 conversation turned to Gracedale, etc?? Knowing Mr. Jennings advocacy I would have been a little surprised not to hear some "discourse" of that subject. Was there?

  7. Bernie all you have is a big mouth
here on your blog., but when you have to face someone you put your tail between your legs and head out.
All blow and no go !

  8. The Chamber of Commerce, Angles second home, is about as "establishment" as you can get.

Spin it al you want O'Hare. I agree that Jennings became part of the "ratings" herd by putting this maniac on the air.

Angle craves an audience and attention and Jennings gave it to him. I agree with many who say the best way to deal with Angle is to ignore him, he is not worth the effort.

  9. AMEN !!!!!!!!!!!!

    TO THAT.

  10. You could have found a better picture of the dog than that one.

  11. Hey O'Hare unlike you, Jennings works hard for those $5 donations. I doubt his attitude is as flippant as yours.

  12. Lighthouse, There was, indeed, discourse about Gracedale. Jennings asked some tough questions, but let Angle answer them. He also put me on the spot, suggesting that I was taking a more pubic role in that debate to deflect some of the attention away from Ron. I explained that Angle chose not to appeal the Baratta decision bc, at that time, he thought the County would not be appealing. I insisted on appealing anyway bc I was concerned about the election fraud.

  13. Did the subject of campaign contributions come up? Did the principled one explain the GEO contribution? Lets see. GEO wants something. Angle says you can give me money but it wont effect my actions. Then he says, the only reason I will take the money is to pay for a poll of the residents. Gee, couldnt GEO simply have used the money to pay for their own poll? What need was there to give him the money? This is classic Angle pretzel logic for the gullible.

Was he asked if his quest to eliminate the Director of Court Services was and remains solely based on personal vindictive reasons?

Fortunately, all the money in the world won't alter the outcome as he is the issue. He has become an embarassment to the Slate Belt and they will toss him out on his ear come November.

  14. Yes, it did, and as Alan himself noted, Angle voted against the very company that gave him a donation.

  15. YOU GOT IT. TO DEFLECT SOME ATTENTION AWAY FROM RON.THATS ONE OF THE FEW REASONS URE STILL REMOTELEY RELEVANT. BUT IF THATS UR RELATIONSHIP W RON ,GOOD FOR U. IM CURRENTLY STARTING A BLOG AND THATS GNA BE MY JOB TITLE.A LOCAL BLOGGER,,, NOT WHAT I ACTUALLY DO FOR A LIVING, OR MY MAIN SOURCE OF INCOME , BUT NO, IM A LOCAL BLOGGER,AND I CANT WAIT TO BE SOOO RELEVANT IN THE POLITICAL WORLD, GNA BE AWSOME.. IM GNA BE ON BUISNESS MATTERS FOR NO REASON AND BE IN THE LOCAL PAPERS...YOU SHLDNT HAVE ANY MORE SAY THAN THE LOCAL GUY WHO WRITES IN TO THE PAPER FOR THE OPINION SECTION...THATS IT!! BUT UR SPEAKING FOR ANGLE SOO UR AT THE FRONT LINES..CASHING IN ON THE SIDE LINES...

    ReplyDelete
  16. Angle voted against the company that gave him the money, but did angle give them the money back after he voted against them? and only because it made the papers was it a concern for angle..otherwise buissnes as usual

    ReplyDelete
  17. If you decide to blog or write for the papers, here's a few hints. Learn how to spell. Stop using the upper case. Use actual words. Try being logical.

The blogosphere is a meritocracy of ideas. People who make ridiculous claims, and who do so with poor language skills, quickly fade away.

  18. 11:15, Oh, are we supposed to return campaign donations when we don't vote the way the donor wants? If that is true, then it's a bribe.

  19. Angle again lied about the tax hike and was his usual deceptive self.

Normally I would agree with Anon 10:07, but Angle is doing more than just blovating and making the usual ass of himself.

With his handpicked stooge Stoffa and his little stooges on county council, he is on the verge of really hurting people by dumping Gracedale. This is no longer just about Angle's ego and getting his puss in the papers and on the radio and TV, now he is working to disenfranchise the elderly poor and sick in the County.

Very sad. I agree with many that he has his right to his opinion but others don't have to give him the platform to spew his misinformation and hate.

    Give Truth a Chance!

  20. Did Angle tell GEO he was going to vote no before or after he took the money?

You are really arent going to say this exchange took place:

GEO: We want to give you $3500.00
Angle: Don't bother, I am going to vote against you.
GEO: That's ok we want you to have the money.

Additionally, in he tried to foist GEO on Council without even the pretense of affording other providers the same opportunity. Anti-competitive. Ah, but that was before he took the poll paid according to him with GEO's money.
Angle's revisionist history is typical but distorted and untruthful.

And as for the Director of Cts?, should we take silence as an admission?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Did GEO give money to any other County Council member? Why only him? And why after he told them he was going to vote no. Oh, but he only said that after he took the money.

Who is the greater dope, GEO or anyone who believes Angle?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Angle, Stoffa and O'Hare always go from the assumption that everyone other then themselves is an idioit.

O'Hare keeps spouting the Angle/Stoffa rhetoric like a medieval bishop defending the flat earthers.

These guys are in a world of their own. Partially the fault of the major media not calling them out on their nonsense.

  23. Bernie in your first post please learn how to spell hour

    ReplyDelete
  24. bernie at 11.15,thats sounds like you ,hopefuly youl fade away soon,,your constantly mispelling words,

    ReplyDelete
  25. Yes Bernie learn to spell or you'll fade aw....
Oh wait, if you were never there?

Ron took the money and tried to expedite a vote, then one of his mysterious polls showed Farmer Jones didn't want no "ferener" prison on his lower forty.
Yes he voted against it and kept the BRIBE. The company isn't stupid enough to ask for or take it back. Ron being the sly fox wouldn't give it back either. Pander to both sides of the issue its' the American way.

Actually, I thought it was a good idea, of course I don't live up there.

  26. One of Angle's county employee buddies is head of the CACLV. So we can see how she talked Jennings into doing the interview. However, the fact that Alan gave a forum to this cited anti-smite and bigot was a mistake and will cost the organization money, even if Mr. O'Hare thinks that is funny.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Bernie.....its no wonder people sign as anonymous because if they disagree with you, you spend your time researching that person personal life. You find out every little personal thing about them and then try to destroy their reputation! So who is the real coward here...........

    still signing anonymous

you, angle, stoffa are a DISGRACE to our county, nation, humanity. If anyone is as miserable as the 3 of you...I see put yourself out of your misery.
Crawl back into your hell holes!!!
Try doing something good for the world..put a positive spin on things no forgot you only know negative, mean activity

  30. They are three bitter, angry old men. They are not content to make themselves and those close to them miserable. Now they want everyone in the county to be as miserable as they are.

    Sad, really!
