Otter Dollars Now Being Sought Against Stoffa, Too!
Judge Baratta has no jurisdiction. Two Commonwealth Court cases hold that you can't impose attorney fees under the Election Code. So I'll probably lose.
Guess what? Otter is now going after Northampton County Exec John Stoffa, too! Today, he'll be filing a motion demanding $8,053.65 from him personally.
Otter got a little smarter this time. Now, in addition to the Election Code, he claims he's entitled to Otter Dollars under a Judicial Code provision providing for attorney fees when the other side engages in "dilatory, obdurate or vexatious conduct." Larry should know. That provision was used against him a few years ago. In an elections case.
Last night someone sent me this picture, predicting how things will turn out.
Thanks a lot.

Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. Given that Stoffa has wasted thousands and thousands of county taxpayer dollars puffing up his own ego, Otter's claims are mild. Stoffa is suing the taxpayers with taxpayer money. He has always been known as a slow nebbish, now he can add challenged nebbish to that title.
ReplyDeleteMr. Otter should be payed on the basis that he is at least much less onerous to taxpayers than Stoffa.
Give us a break. You Angle and Stoffa make the gang that couldn't shoot straight look like Olympic marksmen.
Reality Now
Bernie I think you and Engle will be in court to day, It seems that Angle got some paperwork last night asking that he be there, also you two did file the apppeal as private citizens, this time no help from the outside you two can go it alone. Cant wait to see how mutch this is going to cost the taxpayers, good use of taxpayers Dollars, no money for Gracedale but money for this?
ReplyDeleteDallesandro, Angle will not be in Court nor does he have to be there. If he was subpoenaed last night, it was not 48 hours in advance as required by law. This haring was scheduled 2/17, and you don't wait until 3/3 to issue subpoenas. I went out and delivered subpoenaed in the middle of an ice storm to make sure I notified as many people as possible with ample notice, and I only had 4 days notice of my hearing.
ReplyDeleteGO Otter GO!!!!!
ReplyDeletehow about the court decides "reasonable time to comply". Guess you will find out in court
ReplyDeleteBernie --
ReplyDeleteF' him up!
HAHA I love win these retards come on here and try and sound slick when in all reality they are completely misinformed. You need 48 hours notice in a subpoena you dimwit!
ReplyDeleteHere's more game prep. Please be careful of flying spraint. Godspeed.
ReplyDeleteOTTER SOCIAL STRUCTURE
1. Most male and female river otters form separate dominance hierarchies. The highest ranking males occupy the most favorable ranges. Males and females normally tolerate - but do not accompany - each other. A female with young may become dominant to males.
2. In Southeast Asia, smooth otters typically occur in social groups consisting of an adult male-female pair and their young.
3. Spot-necked otters have been observed in groups of more than 6, and as many as 20, animals. On Lake Victoria in East Africa, spot-necked otters may undergo a cycle of aggregation and dispersal, with males and females forming separate groups. A female group may contain 8 to 20 individuals, but become smaller during mating when females pair off with males.
4. A giant otter social group consists of an adult pair, one or more subadults, and one or more juveniles. Groups with as many as 20 individuals have been reported, but groups of 4 to 8 are more common. Giant otters exhibit a high degree of pair bonding and group cohesiveness.
5. Cape clawless otters have a clan-type social organization, with groups of related animals associating with one another and defending joint territories. Males may maintain a loose association with a female and her young.
6. Asian small-clawed otters live in loose family groups of about 12 animals.
I think the term "Retards" is offensive...
ReplyDeleteAnd I think you meant to spell "when"
not "win"
hmmmm
that whole pot/kettle thing
prehaps before casting stones you might want to do a little soul searching.
After extensive research, I've determined that only retards use "win" in lieu of "when" in written communication. Even morons, imbeciles, and certified idiots know proper usage of "when."
ReplyDeleteand its perhaps

ReplyDeleteSo how did your hearing on lawyer fees go this morning?
ReplyDeleteAngle makes Charlie Sheen look like the sanest guy in the world. he was a true ass on Thursday night. Have the shit he said was a lie. of course he plays politics with Gracedale and lied about the work done there by past administrations.
ReplyDeleteThe only people who live in Angle's "real world" are Stoffa and O'Hare.
nuff said, nuff said!
The unions at Gacedale ride a snazzy gravy train to and from work all paid for by the taxpaying public. They are no different than most unions who have lost their value other than protecting incompetent workers and fighting for their jobs when the employees in queston should be fired. Instead of spending time comming up with cuts they cut the throats of Angle, O Hare and Stoffa the only ones who understand the financial implications of the union greed and the long term affect on county coffers. This never was about patients it is about saving bloated benefit over priced jobs.
ReplyDeleteBob, My guess is that I won, but won't know until Monday. I thought I had won my earlier hearing, too.
