  1. Finally, we get to see if "Jesus" really can raise the dead.

  2. Clem, you took my line.

Bob Freeman is like Elvis and Tupac Shakur: dead for years but still sighted regularly.

  3. OMG, I have to o just to witness the words of Shegda. How lucky can Freeman get? This guy has run against him twice now and if you add his two elections together he won't get 10%.

  4. My understanding is that a new cardboard cutout will be replacing the old cutout of the departed Bob Freeman.

The new cut out is promoted as a more colorful version of the old one. I doubt if Shegda has a chance.

  6. Bernie,

You've shown remarkable restraint by posting this with no comment.

Do you know if this will be webcast on the county's site or local TV? Nothing on the county's calendar...

And nothing good on TV Wednesday night.

  7. It crtainly won't be on the county web page. I have to choose between that and Recihley. If I am free, I will probably pick the Freeman debate for pure entertainment value.

  8. I am a proud Catholic and a Conservative and I know Ron Shegda personally.

And let me just say Ron is every bit of the joke that Bernie makes him out to be. In fact, Bern could do more to embarrass him, but I think he feels somewhat sorry for him.

Its a shame how Ron uses his sister to his own advantage every chance he gets. The poor lady has to be paraded around so Ron can show how swell of a guy he is.

Haven't heard his CD, but his music career may be his only chance he has to get off unemployment, I know his radio career won't do it.

You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.
