State House Budget Chair Visiting LV Today

HARRISBURG, Sept. 9 -- House Appropriations Chairman Dwight Evans, D-Phila., will meet with citizens, community leaders and elected officials at meetings in the Lehigh Valley today to discuss issues of major importance including the state budget, transportation, and Marcellus Shale.

In his role as Appropriations chairman, Evans has made it a priority to engage Pennsylvanians directly in discussions about state government and Pennsylvania’s future. He will be the guest of state Rep. Joseph Brennan.
