  1. Why is the Congressman wasting taxpayer money doing what private business does nearly every day?

    Give me a break Dent.

  2. Anon 10:08, Talk about being completely blinded by partisanship. This is a job fair that will help people who are unemployed look for work with employers in the region. Shouldnt the government be doing everything it can to facilitate private businesses hiring?

If you would take off your partisan blinders only for a second, you may notice that there hasnt exactly been a rash of job fairs recently.

The fact that Dent could put together such a large job fair is impressive. The fact that you think it is a waste of money demonstrates your ignorance and extremism.

  3. Absolute waste of MY tax dollars. Does he also subscribe to the Corbett thinking that then unemployment rate is high because "these" people don't want jobs. R's get real. Live with us in the real world for a few days.

If Dent subscribed to the philosophy you described then why would he hold a job fair at all. Seems like the reason you would host a job fair is because you believe people want to work and will come to the event. It wouldnt be a successful job fair if you didnt believe potential employees would show up. You blatant partisanism and ignorance is on full display.
