What will Teh Won do? He will need to ask his advisers what he thinks er, what is the best political move.

  2. McChrystal is a lifelong warrior. Obama couldn't get security clearance if he hadn't been elected. Enough said.

  3. McChrystal spends lots of his time in the field, where the mentality and comraderie and even the humor is different. Obama should let this slide. It was a serious lapse of judgment, but he's one of the best.

  4. Not McChrystals first case of insubordination. Maybe Obama will let him stay but I wouldn't. The Constitution is clear, the President is Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, period!!

It doesn't matter what Limbaugh, Beck or our local wing-nuts think of Obama, any military man who doesn't like that should resign. I felt the same way with Bush and every other President regardless of Party or my feelings about the guy. The Constitution is crystal clear on this.

I personally know that whether you are a buck private or a four star general, you stay out of politics and respect your superior officer. If you can't do that resign your commission. This isn't a game of I will obey the constitution if I like the guy.

Personally I would do a Truman and fire the sob.

In the United States the military is under civilian command, this isn't some banana Republic. Any officer that does not understand that should resign or be court marshaled. Enough with this bullshit.

McChrystal has continually crossed the line and the President should can his ass.

  5. The general should have resigned before making the truth public.

  6. McChrystal is an AMERICAN through and through. This man is protecting our front lines and way of life. I want him there and support him. At least he was born in this country and takes his oath to uphold the Constitution seriously. Obama should learn from McChrystal. If anyone needs to be fired, its Obama. Obama is allowing and standing by everyday as the Gulf is polluted beyond repair and even playing golf. Sounds a little like Nero fiddling while Rome was burning?

  7. Patriot, what you say is true, but respect for the Constitution is not something that you find anywhere in the federal government these days.

  8. I'm so tired of the military. 55% of every tax dollar is spent on the military. We have troops all over the world. For what? Who is going to invade us?
