Times Square Defendant Post Removed

I had a post up about the possible connection of the Times Square bombing Defendant to the LV, but removed it within 15 minutes after discovering that it was inaccurate. This post was only up briefly, but in view of the nature of the subject, I feel an explanation is necessary.

  1. I always give myself 15 minutes to make whatever changes I consider necessary, including the outright deletion of a post. Because of the subject matter, I felt an explanation was warranted. Complain all you want.

  2. I hope Homeland Security checks you out. You are one suspicious, sneaky looking dude!

  3. Apparently, Homeland Security isn't doing much of anything these days.

  4. Speaking of the Times Square bomber, the left is actually upset that he wasn't a tea partier or a Christian:

  5. Yeah, no mention here of the widespread May Day violence at left-leaning protests. MSM was similarly silent.

Only tea partiers are called violent for what they MIGHT do, but haven't.

You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.
