Professor Browning's Pop Quiz

By the way, I wasn't kidding last night when I told you that the twelve applicants for Bill Leiner's vacant seat on the Lehigh County Board of Commissioners, were subjected to a pop quiz. Chairman Dean Browning told the dirty dozen that their are eight standing committees, and each Commissioner serves on four of them. Those committee assignments, which include the vacant seat, were made by the Board on January 13th and are listed online.

Browning asked them to name the committees on which they would serve, and thouse in which they had a leadership role.

One of these committees, incidentally, is the Appointments Committee that met last night. The others are General Services, Cedarbrook and Judiciary.

So how did everybody do?

Basist, Cramsey, Felton, George and Hoffman had no answer.

Geoff Brace and Bill Hansell listed the four correct committees, but misidentified the one where the appointee would be Vice Chair. Maniatty got three of them, but screwed up on the ones he would Chair and serve as number two.

Cooney listed four committees, but only named one on which he would actually sit if appointed. One does not exist. Brinker got two but one does not exist and the other is not one on which he would serve.

Landsbach claimed she was unable to find anything in her research that mentioned the assignments for this particular seat.

Zosky noted she had no idea which committees where Commissioner Leiner was appointed, but the question related to appointments for the vacant seat.

  1. First broadcast County Council and Pres. uberfuhrer Angle was already being the bully.

He illegally stop a motion which can be proposed and seconded by two Council members. He violated the rules Council has abided by for 40 years.

Oahre will cover up but the proof is now on tape and being preserved by a group determined to foster truth and transparency.

  2. I saw the broadcast as well. It was interesting to hear what these peple said after the meeting without realizing that their images and voices were recorded.

    We have the tapes, HAHAHA!!!

  3. Well, I am delighted the meeting was broadcast and seen. It showed McHale as the petty, vindictive and ostentatious person she has become. Her motion was out of order, as determined by Angle, the Council Solicitor, and even the Council Clerk.

  4. What a crazy little twerp you are. Imagine how much time, energy and money you spend on your crusade of hate. And for all your efforts, you've managed to make yourself a pariah. In the course of trying to get everyone to shun me, it is you who have been marginalized. All the sympathy people had for you has vanished. All you have is your hatred.
