  1. I've just deleted a youtube link. I will delete all youtube links unless there is a description of the video and some point that relates to the post.

  2. I was very disappointed with Dent's "helpers' the one and only ime I spoke to them. Because of a slow thyroid I was unable to buy health insurance. I was turned down at all three insurance companies that write in PA. Money was not an object. I called Dent's office and a young man put me on hold and came back with a phone number. He wouldn't tell me to what it was. When I dialed it, I got the County Public Assistance office. I had told him I was earning $50 an hour. In contrast, Specter's office knew exactly what I meant, said a few trite comments about the healthcare crisis at least and gave me the number to the state insurance commission so I could report some unethical behavior I came across with some of the brokers I dealt with. I never got the insurance and ended up giving up my career as a contracter and settling for a corporate job again so I would be covered under group insurance, but at least Specter's people read the newspaper.

You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.
