Allentown Afterthoughts

Media maven and blogging pioneer Jeff Pooley, has a new blog, Allentown Afterthoughts. As he explains it himself, "Most posts are really links, with short quotes and shorter commentary." Very cool.

  2. Sounds like an interesting blog. I wonder if King Edwin's $8,000 cash handouts on election day will qualify for as an "Allentown Afterthought".

  3. I like it! short intro's and it gets to the point through links.
I know Jeff through a Muhlenburg College project a while back. Seems to be a fine young man. I wish him well....The Old Allentown Curmudgeon

  4. Jeff is one of the best media critics I've ever met, and I love the pithy style of his new blog. I am actually a little jealous of other bloggers who can say so much with so few words.

You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.
