Cedarbrook Nursing Home Restricting Visitors
Nursing home officials plan to monitor the incidence of H1N1 in the community and the availability of the vaccine daily and will lift the ban when the threat of infection lessens. The safety and well being of residents is of utmost concern and we are optimistic that an outbreak can be avoided and the visiting restriction lifted prior to the holidays.

You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.
We should resist any attempt to prolong the lives of these costly seniors. I'm sure they'll understand. It's like old Inuits, short goodbyes and shaky ice floes. It's change we can believe in.
ReplyDeleteWell, that's too bad for the folks looking forward to seeing the kids in their family. I hope these restrictions don't last too long. Although, I can totally understand the rationale. I guess you're contagious w/ the flu for a full 24 hours prior to symptoms. That's not cool around the elderly. But, it's too bad the resident can't decide for themselves if they want to risk exposure to the flu.
ReplyDeleteSo who were all the idiots again who made fun of the Stoffa Administration for preparing for this months ago?
ReplyDeleteThe idiots are visiting their relatives because you still can in Northampton County.
ReplyDeleteNo one is checking anything. Of course as always the Stoffa Administration gets an A in planning, thats all they do, plan. Heaven forbid they ever take any action that isn't a disaster.
