I Now Own a John Stoffa Birdhouse

Last week, I told you Northampton County Exec John Stoffa likes to build birdhouses and give them away. You can watch his video here, in which John explains how that matches each home to the person. Ron Angle's roof, for example, is red, to remind him of his temper. He swears a bald eagle just bought it.

Well, I now have my very own John Stoffa birdhouse. It's gigantic, big enough for a dodo bird. All the screws are loose, too.

Is he trying to tell me something?

Update: Jeff Stoffa, John's son, tells us how his dad lost two fingers at John Stoffa for Northampton County Executive.

  6. I built a very elaborate birdhouse with 8 rooms and a porch with shutters & a rail . Installed it on top of backyard trellis 3 years ago. So far the wasp love it for nesting. Bats love it. Squirrels love it and run across ripping off the shutters. The neighborhood's stray cats stare at it in false hope. My fear is it that it might one day become part of Allentown's inspection program!

    BIRDS.. not so much!

  7. Just think of the revenue that could be generated from systematic birdhouse inspections!

  8. If the County is like that crappy birdhouse, we are all in trouble.

Rome had Nero, we have Stoffa; result the same.

  9. Stoffa feeds at the public trough. He collects three checks now, with a fourth on the way when he is no longer County Exec. He engages in old fashion Boss Tweed Cronysim by hiring his buddies. And, he should go.

  10. I hope McHale looks at the promises he made and the postions and people he attacked when he first ran.

He has hired his buddies, secret contracts and cannot work with County Council.

Time to find another public pension to collect Mr. Stoffa.

  11. God, I sure hope you send out all the nastygrams to that effect. It will tell the voters exactly what vicious little snakes you are and will backfire just like it did when you tried it against Angle.

Elections are good things. It's nice to have a choice. But you're making it too easy for Stoffa.
