Narlesky Using Scissorhands Severson For Judicial Campaign

Two One Northampton County judicial candidates, Judge Leonard Zito and Jim Narlesky, have has already made at least one questionable decision. They're both He's using sleaze consultant Scissorhands Severson. While I would not vote against someone based on a single issue like that, it is very discouraging to see any two members of the judiciary use someone they know is under investigation by the state attorney general.

Update: Zito NOT Using Severson. I've just been informed, by Judge Zito himself, that he is NOT using Severson in any capacity on his judicial campaign. My source was certain and even double-checked at my request, but missed on this one. I regret my error, and apologize to Judge Zito as well as my readers for my error.

  2. Not many other choices out there.
Most Dem consultants in this area are no longer doing this work. Cheryl Corsa only works for R's.
    Who's left??

  3. really, WTF...

Next thing you know these slease bag types will be asking for bailouts when their candidate looses.

All money spent on election advertising during this troubled economic situation should be temporarily suspended.

The guy threatened another human being in the house of the Lord in front of fellow Christians (or were they Jews?).

  4. I find it hard to support this man. He had the help of Cheryl Corsa and the Republicans becasue he lied to them about switching parties, then he lied to them when he told them he decided not to run. It seems to me that the logical next manuever for him would be to seek out some one of like character..Severson! Together these two will be able to set new records for sleaze and underhanded campaigning.

  5. Did the court ever hear the case from Severson's threats at the church?

  6. ZITO is not using Scissrhands...

He is a Republican now, and if he used scissorhands the local Republicans would reject him. I also think that he has too much integrity.

  7. You are correct on both counts and I was wrong. You can also add compassion to Zito's qualities. I felt terrible after my blog this morning blew the facts, and it was my own time bc I had ample opportunity to check it out. Zito was very understanding when I called to apologize.

I can't support Jim. Too many things like this. But I hope he and Severson are very happy.

  10. So what you are saying is that you fucked up:

"I felt terrible after my blog this morning blew the facts, and it was my own time bc I had ample opportunity to check it out", so why not pull a mcall.com and delete the article?

  11. Yes, I absolutely screwed this one up and have no one to blame but myself.

It's bad enough to make a mistake. But what would be worse would be if I took the post down and tried to pretend it never happened. I think it's more honest to admit I screwed up. Once I publish a blog, it's published, no matter how wrong it may be. Deleting a blog, even if it is incorrect, destroys the integrity of the Internet.

So what I do is prepare and update that publicly acknowledges my error, as I did here. I also crossed out the language that was erroneous.

I am sorry to everyone I steered in the wrong direction.
