You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.
Where is the 9mm section?
ReplyDeleteGood on them. As a parent who just put two through college, I can tell you that "Bandos" have lots of fun and get lots of college money thrown at them. Nice post.
ReplyDeleteYou have to have the parade BEFORE the holliday. St. Patricks day was over... no wonder the small turnout. Its like having Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on Dec 3rd. Who schedualed this thing for the saturday after and expected any kind of turnout? I'll bet the band would have had a great turnout if the parade was on the 14th. Thank You.
ReplyDeletePerhaps the parade would have been more successful if it was earlier. But the sole point of this post was Wm Allen's band. I'm no expert, but I thought they sounded very nice.
ReplyDeleteI don't believe that was their full band. With 7 divisions the parade would have been too long with full bands. CCHS band was similarly reduced.
ReplyDeleteIt could be the full band. The band director is a bit of a dick and does a decent job of driving away many musicians.
