Tony Phillips Answers Some Smears ... and More

Pawlowski's dirt brigade is hard at work. Tony Phillips is already being smeared for having the audacity to accept a pension. He's also slammed because, after bigots stuck a chopped off black doll's head on the steering wheel of his police cruiser, he dared take legal steps to ensure that kind of behavior is eliminated. Finally, there's that incident at Bucky Boyle park.

On his blog, those allegations are answered.

More questions? How will Phillips help Allentown become better? One way is by listening to you instead of doing a power point presentation.

Why not meet him next Tuesday? He'll be at Nino's Pizza, located at 15th & Gordon, right next to the WaWa. Instead of one of Pawlowski's $1,000 fundraisers, you can spend $15 and get all the pizza and pasta you want. It's from 5:30 'till 8 PM.

  1. Yes, it's always a smear to ask for an explanation, but it isn't a smear when you do it O'Hate.

Tell us O'Hate, explain to us uninformed Pom pom wavers how you can prosecute Ed Pawlowski for alleged pay to play crimes, yet turn a blind eye to Jim Martin not so enthusiastically prosecuting his friends? How is it any different?

As for the Tony Phillips Greek Tragicomedy of a campaign, it looks like he's taking your advice and using the "I'm a victim, just like you" slogan to appeal to voters.
I find it ironic that you are so busy pointing out Allentown police problems from a decade ago, but you are unable to discuss the inept police departments in your own county. The Forks PD has their own DUI division, as in committing them. The easton Police shoot each other in their offices, when they arren't beating citizens. And Bethlehem? It's been a decade since Hirko, but has it gotten better?

No, you would rather toss the turds in your neighbors back yard, than pick up the ones in your own.

I'm not proposing that Allentown doesn't need scrutiny, but you would have a bit more credibility if you weren't such a biased hypocrite.

  2. North side, east side
Little Willy, Willy wears the crown, he's the king around town
    Dancing, glancing
Willy drives them silly with his star shoe shimmy shuffle down
Way past one, and feeling alright
'Cause with little Willy round they can last all night
Hey down, stay down, stay down down

'Cause little Willy, Willy won't go home
But you can't push Willy round
Willy won't go, try tellin' everybody but, oh no
Little Willy, Willy won't go home

    Up town, down town
Little Willy, Willy drives them wild with his run-around style
    Inside, outside
Willy sends them silly with his star-shine shimmy shuffle smile
Mama done chase Willy down through the hall
But laugh, Willy laugh, he don't care at all
Hey down, stay down, stay down, down

'Cause little Willy, Willy won't go home
But you can't push Willy round
Willy won't go, try tellin' everybody but, oh no
Little Willy, Willy won't go home

    Little Willy, Willy won't
    Willy won't, Willy won't
    Little Willy, Willy won't
    Willy won't, Willy won't
    Little Willy, Willy won't
    Willy won't, Willy won't
    Little Willy, Willy won't
    Willy won't, Willy won't

Little Willy, Willy won't go home
But you can't push Willy round
Willy won't go, try tellin' everybody but, oh no
Little Willy, Willy won't go home

Little Willy, Willy won't go home
But you can't push Willy round
Willy won't go, try tellin' everybody but, oh no
Little Willy, Willy won't go home

  4. i must be missing something... this article was about how Tony actually answered accusations and put the facts out for the public to see... while Pawlowski is calling a budget surplus of 14 million when 8 of it was BORROWED BOND DEBT. and some how they Jim Martin and Forks Township are what they give u crap for??? Anonymous Must be a politician because as usual they never stick to the topic at hand when they don't have anything intelligent to say.

  8. Anon 9:09,

When I needed to directly contact Tony P, I just sent him an email, which is located at the city web page. If you'd like more personal contact info, I suggest you physically go to next week's Meet 'n Greet. I'm sure Tony would have no problem giving that information to a person who identifies himself. But I am reluctant to post personal contact information about anyone, even Mayor Ed, online. I am reluctant even if the person agrees.

  9. "I find it ironic that you are so busy pointing out Allentown police problems from a decade ago,"

I'm not doing that at all. I'm explaining why Phillips, as a person who respects himself, found it necessary to take legal steps to protect the rights of everyone.

"you are unable to discuss the inept police departments in your own county."

This is a bait 'n switch argument, but I've actually been highly critical of some NC police departments, including Palmer PD and Nazareth before Chief Sinclair was hired. I've criticized (and praised) NC deputy sheriffs. I am an equal opportunity offender.

Easton PD, for all its problems, has never bothered me. Bethlehem PD was the finest force in the LV for many years.

I suggest you stop reading this blog. You apparently have a distaste for constructive criticism. There are numerous puff blogs you can examine for your daily dose of fantasy.

  10. You are usually more than happy to write what people say and think. Now you are sensative. Whats up with that. You reported every fart from Bennet. You ruthlessly attack people who disagree with you or your boyfriends. Really, can't write about it huh, OK.

  11. I suggest that next time you write here, you wait until whatever you're drinking has worn off because you make no sense.
