The Sam Bennett Primal Scream

About thirty seconds into this video, LV Congressional candidate Sam Bennett treats us to her primal scream. Looks like another meltdown is in the works.

  1. She should not be preaching about how politics work...

  3. Is the setting in that video Northampton Community College... can anyone confirm?

I want to make sure of this before I post my next comment.

  4. So what her campaign has come down to is begging college students for help. Doesn't she realize that most students don't have time to knock on doors? How out of touch is she?

    She really is desperate.

By the way, she left out "big grocery."

  5. That's it! I'm writing in somebody else.

Bob Freeman or maybe Tom Wallitsch -- but I'm definitely NOT voting for this idiot.

  6. My, My! What a strutting, obnoxious little peacock!

Is she still asking people to volunteer for her campaign?

    This late in the game?

    Unbelievable!

  7. Just another example of how looney "Sam the Sham" is! She refers to her "proven track record"? What record? Running Mayfair into the ground and creating a ridiculous non-profit organization for self-enrichment? A person with her incompetence and lack of integrity would be dangerous in Congress and CERTAINLY would not reflect well on the Lehigh Valley.

  8. Hey Bernie, Is it too late to drum up a write in vote for someone other than bennett or dent? Do you know?

  9. This is a person who truly believes that she is loved because of who she is, what she says and what she does. In a sense, she believes that she can do no wrong.

It takes a tremendous ego to make that assumption and you have to grudgingly admire someone who has this self-confidence. It means that she believes that no matter what she says or does, she will be loved and accepted by her audience.

Most people are terrified of public speaking. People like Bennett seek it out because it nourishes their ego.

I would not vote for her if she were the only candidate on the ballot because she lacks humility. I also fear the arrogance of someone who believes that she knows better than you what is good for you.

  10. I am always amazed at this candidate's air of authority, even though she doesn't wield any political influence and has been exposed in the press as an inept candidate and civic leader more than once--this month alone!

Was there really any need to announce to the audience that she was "not running for re-election"? Was she reminding the audience of this fact, or herself?

  12. Gee, Bernie deleted a comment that called him out for still kicking Sam Bennett. What's the date after you the election until you start tashing Ed Pawlowski? Nov 5th/ I'll even give it a time. I bet 12:00AM you start your attacks on Ed. Don't give yourself to much credit for destroying Sammy, She did it to herself. I only hope that Charlie's people covered the tracks on your compensation well enough.

  13. Anon 7:35,

    1) If Congressman Dent were foolish enough to pay me under the table to push his campaign, he'd deserve to lose. In fact, he'd deserve a federal prosecution and so would I.

    2) Although I love suggestions and will happily post notices from just about anyone, nobody every tells me what to write. Even my friends have learned that I jealously guard my independence.

    3) I have not "destroyed" Sam Bennett. Although I've been highly critical of her congressional candidacy, I happen to like her as a person and admire her tenacity.

    4) Although the number of blog readers now is much greater than it was two years ago, the impact this blog can have on any election is very small. Most of myt readers tend to be pretty well-informed, and I don't think I have that much of an impact. In fact, Bennett could win on Tuesday.

    5) Why are you so worried about King Ed? I've been writing about him all along. I sure don't intend to stop to placate a troll.

  14. Pete,

I can't bear to sit through that video for another 4 minutes, so I may be wrong about this...

But I believe Bennett said she WAS running for re-election, not as you are quoting her.

    Either way, she's delusional.

  16. I think she may be swept in on tuesday if all the newly registered young Obamam kids pull her lever.

Hard to imagine Sam Bennettin Congress. she will be even more high falutin' than Ann McHale.
