Uberfuhrer Dottie actually issued the edict at her foo-foo blog for the arts and artists and grants for artists and dinners about artists, Lehigh Valley Somebody. Northern Lehigh Valley Logic, Molovinsky on Allentown and AJ's Weblog were added to this list, too, because those bloggers are too damn nice to me. Micek's Capitol Ideas and Pam Varkony, whom Villa inexplicably likens to Anita Bryant, have also been bashed today.
John, I don't know what the hell you've done out there in Harrisburg, but you're on Villa's shit list too, baby. Pam, face it, you write too well.
As I warned last week, nothing makes people want something more than when someone else tells them they can't have it. This week's BNN ratings are in, and Goebbels must be crying in his little pillow right now. Despite his best efforts, look at what's happened!

Three comments, two from Villa and one from Rogue Bloggerm have been deleted. In other words, Villa has violated his own Boycott. All further comments from either, will be deleted eventually and without comment.

ReplyDeleteOPEN COMMENT TO JOYCE MARIN, ms. marin, i noticed your comment on lehighvalley somebody in regard to the villa promoted show and city assisted(via grants) old allentown house tour. although i fully support the house tour, show and artists participating, certain personal behavior by the villa's should not be ignored by those of you responsible as agents of the city. mr. villa has challenged mr. o'hare to a fistfight, etc., i also have been "warned" by villa. i must assume some of us may be at risk if we dare attend the public art show at mr. lewnes residence, who also as the 7th st. manager, receives taxpayer funds.
Villa is posting it here, too. Nothing he posts will be tolerated.
ReplyDeletethe villa's justify their behavior because of "horrible things" said about them on the troll blog. bernie, admittedly, you have been rather blunt, but those new to this commotion must realize the villa's engaged in the same behavior before the troll blog. for weeks before the troll blog villa would submit endless comments under his own name,also pseudonymously and anonymously. this inappropriate highjacking of blogs by him was the reason the troll blog was created in the first place. although he is a grieving father, he also is a bully. although he is a musician, he also is a bully. frankly, he's quite mean spirited; he will paint those who resisted his orders as racist, plagiarist, or whatever hammer he can contrive. there are those of us who wish to have a blogosphere, not a billosphere, thus these distractions from real issues.

I’m in the process of deleting 29 (total) “Pat Wallace” comments on my blog. Why Bill Villa has the urge drag me into his vendetta is beyond me, but I will not participate in his game and I will not participate in this pointless feud. I’ve done nothing to Mr. Villa other than refuse to "side" with him in a battle with Bernie.
