McFadden is Northampton County's New PJ!

I'm delighted by today's selection of F. P. Kimberly McFadden as Northampton County's new President Judge - not because she's a woman - but because she's the best. Her unanimous election is a credit, not just to her, but to her remaining colleagues on the bench. These include William F. Moran (1987); Stephen G. Baratta (1998); Emil Giordano (2004); Edward G. Smith (2002); Anthony S. Beltrami (2006); and Paula A. Roscioli (2006).

A few days ago, I wondered whether the Lehigh Valley was ready for its first female PJ, but never thought it would happen. McFadden is way too apolitical. She's far more interested in writing opinions than designing courthouses. Her selection is a wonderful sign for the Northampton County bench.

Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself.
