Where Is This?


On a balmy Saturday afternoon, I stood at this riverside, watching a solitary scull silently slice through the waves. As quickly as I could reach for my camera, it was gone.

Here's my question. Where is this serene Lehigh Valley riverside?

    That looks like Adams Island in good old Allentown.

    You got it right on the first guess! The view is from Bucky Boyle park.

    Much of Allentown is simply beautiful.

    Indeed it is Adams Island. Adams Island is part of the east side of Allentown ... Play AAA Baseball elsewhere on the East Side staring March 30 against the Phillies.

    Adams Island..........sank a few of my water worthy vessels on that river ......oh what great younger memories.
