Lehigh County Tidbit About Farmland Preservation

Lehigh County Commissioner Sterling Raber, who chairs the General Services Committee, is a man of few words. But at the conclusion of last night's commissioners' meeting, he made this brief statement. "We have $4 million to preserve farmland this year. We've preserved 18,000 acres so far."

  1. How much of this 18,000 acres is actually still being farmed as compared to how many acres are just being preserved?

  2. Now you want more than a tidbit. I honestly don't know, LST.
