Local Dem Machine is Having a Party Tonight!

Bossman Long is throwing a pary, and we're all invited! All my favorite people will be there, and it's only a few doors from my estate atop the Nazareth Army Navy. I think I'll call contributor Abe Atiyeh and see if he can pick me up in his Hummer. I'm sure it's just an oversight that I received no invitation.

Join the Team of the Northampton County Democratic Committee at Election Central after the polls close.

Election night, Tuesday November 6th Northampton County candidates John Morganelli, Tony Branco, Ann McHale, Bill Wallace, Lamont McClure, John Maher and Stephen Barron will await election night returns and all are invited to be there to join in.

Where: Nazareth Jacksonian Democratic Club
119 S. Main Street
Nazareth, PA 18064
(Note: Park in rear @ bank parking lot)
Date: Tuesday night, November 6th, 2007
Time: 9pm

Food and beverages will be served.

  1. Bernie, I agree with your views only occasionally, but I must compliment you on your generally thoughtful and thorough work providing election information that was unavailable through the local papers.

Your intrepidity in covering finances and tactics, as well issues, was a true service to those of us who want more information - not less, as is the case with the MSM.

I'll likely be on your ass again tomorrow, but for tonight: nice work.

  2. Even though FREE refreshments, which is my strong preference, I was not invited but couldn't make it even if I was! Anyway, I'd much rather be at a winning headquarter party with FREE refreshments. larry@kisslinger.com

  3. I'm blushing! It's been pretty hectic the past two weeks. I really wanted to get council finance reports online, follow the money, cover election tactics and have real profiles for the appellate judges. I really appreciate the kind words, especially coming from someone who usually disagrees with me.

  4. the lehigh valley dems are celebrating this evening at the taxpayer financed allentown brewpub. i heard on good authority that pawlowski arranged for 500k to get johnny manana's open. yesterday he had a press conference at Hary's to get it closed, and they pay taxes. although Harys may well be a nuisance bar, i know plenty of private money leaving this unlevel playing field call allentown.

  5. How many severson folks won today?

people/candidates and others need to get a life and ditch severson and his very expensive negative tactics. One should always vote against his clients! severson is the worst of the worst consultants you could ever consider, is my opinion. I have known this and advised many who ever cared, since my R Party Chairmanship '86-'88 and SUNDAY mcall FRONT page news article when I fired him as an R volunteer. ask Tom Goldsmith or read the article and you will learn much about severson and his always sleazy efforts. go figure! larry@kisslinger.com

What's to figure? if not FREE is not for me and don't count on me.
I give free advice (many think that's what it is worth!) and little or NO money. You don't like it, don't call on me for help, end of story. larry@kisslinger,com

You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.
