What Has Happened to Sam Bennett's Endorsement Page?

Way back in July, Congressional wannabe Sam Bennett's website listed an entire page of local Democrats who officially endorse her. I spoke to a number of them in early August, and they were pretty shocked. One told me, "I've said nothing publicly." Another said that Bennett had told him she was running, and he had simply wished her luck.

If you go to her webpage now, that list of endorsements has simply vanished.

Poof!

Fortunately, I still have a link in case she lost hers.

  3. Ohare! What, did you look at the caledar and see you hadn't slammed Sammy B in a while? The good ship Bennett is adrift in the Political Bermuda Triangle, you really don't need to shoot torpedoes at it!
It's sinking and Joe Long is on it! Let it go down! Let them die! Please!

  6. Of course the locals are running for cover.

That didn't stop Bennett from milking the blogosphere this past weekend, though.

A parasite in constant search of another unsuspecting donor.

I'm sorry. You've got a point. It's just sooo easy. And her attempt to use the nonlocal blogosphere to milk some unsuspecting donors is typical.

  8. My Idol Dr Hunter S. Thompson put it best in his book "Fear & Loathing: On the Campaign Trail '72"

"The main problem in any democracy are that crowd pleasers are generally brainless swine who go out onto the stage and work their supporters up into a orgastic frenzy. Then go back to the office and sell everyone of the poor bastards down the tube for a nickle a piece."

Joe Long and Sam Bennet seem to make that true.

And yes BTW I am the very Same J. Spike Rogan who one worked for Fleck. (foolish me)

and two had the letter in todays Express Times about the benefits to universal healthcare.

  9. You know, on that link of yours, Bernie, she calls Charles Dertinger a Northampton County Commissioner.

She was involved in his race - I'm sure she knows they're not Commissioners in Northampton. Maybe she never read the page?

  10. Anon 10:21,

LC people tend to refer to NC councilpersons as commissioners. I've nailed the editorial board at the MC for doing that a few times.

NC people tend to refer to LC commissioners as councilpersons.I've made that mistake more than a fw times.

  11. What's that mangled bloody mass you're hitting with a stick, Bernie?
Is it a dead horse (with an emphasis on dead)?
