You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. Congrats to Patti Romig-Passaro, her family and friends. Well deserved win. www.kisslinger.com
ReplyDeleteYou picked a winner!
ReplyDeleteBethlehem will be a better place with Patty Romig taking over for her mother. I was also glad to see Reynolds get the nod in the City Council race. He will make sure that the Sands does Bethlehem right.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad too! FYI, a BHA employee who regularly has to appear before Romig Court as part of her job, endorsed Mr. Cruz in campaign literature. More nonsense that reflects poorly on BHA. Vast majority of employess don't deserve
ReplyDeletepoor judgement of the few. Also, I took a "hit" yesterday as Reynolds is most likely going to knock me down to 3rd youngest Bethlehem City Councilman. Was bad enough when Callahan knocked me into 2nd place. Just kidding, I wish Mr. Reynolds the best. www.kisslinger.com
Mr. Kisslinger,
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't be so quick to point out a BHA employee who spoke out about one of the candidates. After all, Romig-Passaro's campaign manager used her husband (BHA big cheese) to pressure people in the projects into voting for Romig-Passaro.
Mr. Anon 8:26 AM,
ReplyDeleteYou suggest "Romig-Passaro's campaign manager used her husband (BHA big cheese)to pressure people in the projects into voting for Romig-Passaro". I don't understand how anyone can "pressure" anyone to do anything in a secret ballot!
Maybe you can explain and/or give us a name or two as an example of how this is done? If you don't know the difference about a written endorsement by someone whose job entails appearing before that candidate and someone verbally "asking" others to vote for someone, you need to place your right hand on your right ear,
left hand on your left ear and pull you head out of your A**!, is my opinion. www.kisslinger.com
Wow, Anon 8:26 that is a strong allegation there.
ReplyDeleteLook at the results from 15-3, Marvine School, where the "projects" vote
Democratic Side, Roming-123, Cruz-104, Negrete-14
Rep. Side, Romig-39, Negrete-7.
I do not see anything wrong with those totals.
And Johnny Cruz won Wards 16 and 17, where the other "projects" are located.
The numbers do not support your statement.
So it seems Larry is suggesting that Romig will retaliate against this housing authority person (in the courtroom) for endorsing Cruz. Did I get that right? Hope I don't have to appear before such a judgmental judge.
ReplyDeleteAnon 6:08 PM, as I stated before to Mr. Anon 8:26 AM (unless you're
ReplyDeleteone in the same Anon - how could we know til you exit the closet)?
You sadly misunderstand the entire issue with your wild, still unsubstantiated, accusations! "you need to place your right hand on your right ear, left hand on your left ear and...www.kisslinger.com
