Bloggin' on WGPA 1100 AM with Ron Angle

I'll be bloggin' on WGPA Sunny 1000 AM between 8 and 10 AM this morning with the Emperor, Ron Angle. Any and all insults are welcome. I haven't been called an asshole for a few days. You can call in at 610-866-8074, livestream the show, or post comments here, and I'll try to read them on the air.

I'll be talking about Northampton County elections problems, and I have a little surprise to unveil about Advanced Voting Solutions.

  1. didn't he get canned?

  2. Yep. He had to take a 20% paycut to stay on the air.

  3. How much money does Timmer need?
It's not that he's going to live another 100 years to spend it!

  4. You could ask him about why the county has neglected the Meadows Rd Bridge for so long and the fact that the county has recently stated it feels the bridge is unsafe and that it may collapse at any time and why if the bridge is that unsafe, it is not being closed.

  5. One of my favorite desserts is New York-style cheesecake, and before I was diagnosed not long ago with Type2 diabetes, I ate my share of it.

Fortunately, however, there's a West Easton-style cheescake that these weary, watery, faded blue eyes,if not the tongue can feast on as a sugar substitute - a treat, indeed, since the dish of diabetes that fate had set before me was topped off with that of colon cancer.

And whereas diabetes is bad enouth, leading too often to blindness, limb amputation - and, worst of all, sexual impotence - in a twist of that same fate that served me a helping of diabestes, cancer eats you, not you it.

And as its victim's appetite diminishes, that of the scourge's grows. And that is especially true if, as with diabetes, the victim doesn't push back from the table when the cheesecake is served.

But at least I can still walk into the Northampton County Registrar's Office at 57 N. 2nd St. in Downtown Easton and feast me peepers on Debbie DePaul - a pleasure of which me blind companion John Todaro, constantly at me side, cannot partake. from Palmer (though he and I both were capable of locating the abducted, incarcerated, and dispossed Plainfield Township octogenarian Anna Mae Kessler - a guest of the Willaims Manor assisted-living facility located at 164 Baron Street in Bushkill Township.

Northampton County Court of Common Pleas judges Ed Smith, Jim Hogan, and Bill Moran put Anna Mae there against her will, denied appeal of her imprisonment by her court-appointed Easton lawyer Henry Newton Jr., and held incommuncado by Easton lawyer Tim Prendergast, her court-appointed guardian.

Todaro and I also still qualified to run for public office, or at least announce our intentions to run.

Fortunately for Toearo and me, physical beauty is not a mandated qualification for public service, not even for county executive:

    Look at John Stoffa.

And then look at the comely lass Debbie.

If looks alone counted, she could be the next distaff President of the United States instead of Hilary.

It's just unfortunate that Debbie lacks the qualifications to be Northampton County's registrar.

  6. Billy Givens... dirty old man.

I don't think he's even qualified to know for which office he's running.

  7. Billy, the simple truth is that you wrtie so damn well that I don't really care if you disagree with me or if you're off-topic. You would be so much more effective if you could focus your considerable talent. That is the chief complaint about you. But no one complains about your style. I hope to continue reading your bites.

  12. Billy Givens off topic?

In other news, scientists discovered today that water is indeed wet.....

  13. Did you ever find out about how someone can work in two different offices/buildings p/t? This is a no-no by everyone's standards and County rules. Why is it being allowed?

  14. You'll recall I asked for details and asked you to contact me back channel.
