You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.
Definitely in the wrong direction. Provisional 2 is when your problems worsen from having deficiencies that led to Provisional 1.
ReplyDeleteDoing what she always does. Words without action. Go ahead, now blame Lamont for this also.
ReplyDeleteTo be fair the initial blame for this goes way back, BUT she has done nothing to very little to fix the problem. Once again, she demonstrates her ability to talk and failure to walk.
DeleteThis can’t be so!
ReplyDeleteDoesn’t the state know that Tara just had a photo op with a new citizen last week?
Surely that meant she had actually taken care of all the things she was elected to do and everything was ok, right?
Double secret probation? Can't wait for those two political patronage hires to start making a difference. What a joke. Bring back outside management.
ReplyDeleteGuess it’s too late to ask if anyone, including the County Executive, ever reached out to other successful homes for direction or guidance.
ReplyDeleteYou should see the jail !!! Wish they had that kind of inspection.
ReplyDeleteThanks to the Team Tara voters!
ReplyDeleteThis is disgraceful. It has been happening for several years but no one would call out anyone on anything. Disgraceful council people have screamed at other council members (remember Keegan at Goffredo) that all they wanted to do was “sell Gracedale). Others opted for the “wait and see” concept (Warren) while those and a few others do an eye roll in their heads over such outrageous ideas (such as from David Holland) about bringing in a company to evaluate or possibly take over the day to day operations (as did Premier). Some appear to be helpless to stop the bleeding (who will listen at the administrative level anyway?) Tara is probably still in denial as she probably quips, “Let’s expand it. Bigger is better. Let’s do what Cedarbrook has done and does”. The only similarities between Lehigh and Northampton counties these days is the total incompetence of each county executive. The residents of those counties will suffer as a result.
ReplyDeleteThis is what you get when you elect incompetent people- all talk, no action.
ReplyDeleteMaybe those free cookies and donuts were given to the wrong people.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the problem is we can't hire competent people to work at Gracedale. Now why is that? Do you think it has something to do with the poverty wages they are paid? How about the loss of benefits they have endured over the last decade. A union that sucks and County Executives who only care about themselves. How about the millions that McClure won't tell the Commissioners where he spent that money instead of giving it to the employees like they instructed him to do.
