Lehigh County Exec candidate Joshua Siegel likes to tell anyone who will listen that he's outgrown his immaturity and has learned from previous mistakes that include participating in night rallies that chant, "F--- the Police!" They also include voting No to grants for Allentown's police. But one of his more recent ads indicates that Siegel has learned nothing. The man who wants to "F--- the police" and who wanted to burden you with both a sales and county income tax is claiming that his opponent, Roger MacLean, "failed to keep us safe" as Allentown's top cop back in 2010.
Back then, Siegel was still living in Jersey and attending Phillipsburg High School. So there is no "us."
If Siegel wants to know who has failed to keep Allentonians safe, all he needs to do is look in a mirror.
Siegel knows in his heart that he has let his alligator mouth overload his hummingbird butt too many times. No one except dems who may share his hateful attitudes even listen to him. Thus, he is just slinging cow pies up against the side of the barn to see if anything sticks.

DeleteThat homie who was puking on everyone? They treated him correctly, secured him, then got him the help he needed. Those officers should be commended for handling the situation with restraint and professionalism. Instead the got a bunch of grief for doing their job.
DeleteThe man needed. A healing loving interaction not knees on back and cuffs, we have social workers who can deescalate this fraught situations without the risk of excessive force.

ReplyDeleteThis ad was a very bad mistake for Siegel. To date, we've been receiving his mailers portraying him as a serious public servant and moderate candidate with an adoring spouse and a policy platform of reducing taxes on seniors and increasing funding for police etc....This ad shows a completely different "ugly" side to Siegel who is willing to smear an older, respected former Police Chief. I cant imagine who's idea this was, terrible politics and bad judgment.
