You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.
Mass transit is being funded.
ReplyDeleteThe only issue is the EXTRA 1/4 BILLION INCREASE that is actually to bail out SEPTA.
Anyone attending the protest is a useful idiot.
Forget the cuts taxing people I wonder what politicians love to spend and tax
ReplyDeleteJust another silly gesture that will accomplish nothing. Do you think legislators listen to you commoners?
ReplyDeleteAnyone who protests anything that involves the government is just wasting their quality time.
DeleteWow, Mr Warren is onto something
ReplyDeleteHow many of the participants will be using LANTA to get to the event?
ReplyDeleteNone, they are all well healed zealots
DeleteThe only elected representatives that can help are the state and federal ones. However, many local ones will attend with great speeches and meaningless resolutions. They are there for a politics pop. You want meaningful relief, roost the state and federal officials. Local politicians are meaningless, and they know it. What will Samuelson, Freeman and Slosberg do?
ReplyDeleteMaybe the Appropriate transportation people that get city of Bethlehem grant money can ride bicycles built for 2 around town to pick up passengers to supplement LANTA’s empty buses circling town.
ReplyDeleteTake a look sometimes at how many riders are on these buses. They should change to minii-vans.
