If you'd like to make a last-minute argument for a candidate, please feel free to do so in the comments. I will periodically load them throughout the day.

You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.
Maria Batista and Josh Prince for Superior and Commonwealth Court!
ReplyDeleteDo not vote/support these two candidates, they are bad for Pennsylvania!
DeleteWe need someone who isn’t part of the “Northampton Machine” on the bench. That’s why I’m voting James Fuller for Judge.
ReplyDeleteNot Jenna Fliszar for judge. Too young. All her fundraising events were at bars, reviving the old phrase “sober as a judge”. The campaign seemed more like a vanity project for her husband.
ReplyDeleteJust like Jack Panella's kid
DeleteDon’t vote for Cozze. She is only looking for another free ride
ReplyDeleteNo Tara or Amy
ReplyDeleteAmy Cozze is the much better choice of two bad candidates- she mopped the floor with Zrinski at the debate
DeleteVote for common sense and community! Vote Kemmerer For Wind Gap!
ReplyDeleteTuerk for mayor because of his nature to showcase the positives of Allentown as he addresses its issues! He backs the blue and has Withrow lowered crime, he is always talking with residents to improve the parks and address litter, noise and housing. Plus he networks at a state and national level for funding to build the economy. 4 more!
ReplyDeleteHe's terrible! Another wokester like wee Willie in Bethlehem
DeleteDo your homework on school board races. Incumbents' and those seeking re-election voting records can be found in meeting minutes. Budgets are voted on in May and June. New candidates may be hard to find information on but check endorsements. Some are being endorsed by political groups; avoid board candidates who have endorsements from groups with an agenda. School boards should be apolitical.
ReplyDeleteI agree 100%. Some candidates are backed by the teachers Unions for obvious reasons
DeleteBullhorn Zrinski is the absolute worst possible candidate- runs for another office every 2 years.
ReplyDeleteAnne you already voted. Go back to bed now.
DeleteI agree, and no this isn't Anne
DeleteHoping Bethlehem residents reject Willie & his vindictive arrogant approach to his constituency.
ReplyDeleteGrace will reopen the communication door with city hall and make affordable housing happen instead of just talk about it.
Reynolds has held up development of 50 acre Martin Tower property for 3 years with no dialogue due to his unrealistic demands.
That has cost the affordable housing fund nearly $7 million & delivered zero market rate housing inventory needed in Bethlehem.
Grace will communicate to make this happen plus open currently closed doors throughout the city.
Wee Willie is the most arrogant, ineffective Mayor in Bethlehem's history!
DeleteThanks to Amy Cozze’s leadership when she was head of elections I had the pleasure of voting on one of the worst voting machines around. I remember her standing up at meetings and Championing these machines. If she wins maybe she can fix that big mistake and make the tax payers pay for it. A vote for Cozze is a vote for incompetence.
ReplyDeleteIf you’re voting in Lower Nazareth/Upper Nazareth East please consider voting for me! I promise not to try and build an elementary school on top of a natural gas pipeline which is apparently a big ask of school boards these days!
ReplyDeleteLower Naz supervisors will never zone this for a school. What a waste of funding and time.
DeleteI happily voted for Amy Cozze. Is she perfect? No. But at least she'll focus on her constituents for a full term instead of abandoning us to run for something else!
ReplyDeleteAnne go work a poll
DeleteI agree! She destroyed Bullhorn at the debate- she exposed Zrinski for who she is- an opportunist!
Delete*makes out with you aggressively*
DeleteDestroyed her at the debate? I would agree that Cozze came off calm but she was not knowledgeable on County government because she has no clue how it really works. Let’s face it she will be a disaster. Her buddies Susan, Lori and Lori’s bestie won’t be able to help her they don’t have a clue either.
DeleteAll of this talk from community leaders defending Natalie on her lack of attendance at Allentown city council meetings, need to talk to her and tell her that someone might just propose an ordinance to establish a certain mandatory percentage of attendance! She needs to stop having people whisper in her ear since she doesn’t know at all about the inner workings of her city. She doesn’t respond to public comments or calls from constituents, a shame.
ReplyDeleteCandida raised a concern about virtual attendance that was totally legit. Get a Dr note if you can't show your face in person. Council people will now make a stipend equivalent to min wage so show up.
DeleteSuch an ordinance would have zero effect.
