More About DiLuzio's Trump Sign

Last week, I published a photo from a Facebook page showing a Trump-Pence campaign sign at Nuria DiLuzio's home. When you're seeking the Democratic nomination for NorCo District Attorney and just switched parties, as she did, this can and does bother people. What bothers me far more than the sign are the conflicting accounts DiLuzio has given..

Story #1.- Celeste Dee is DiLuzio's former campaign manager. When Dee was first informed that DiLuzio had decorated her home with a Trump-Pence campaign sign, she contacted the candidate. DiLuzio denied it. She told Dee that campaign signs of any kind are prohibited by the homeowners' association in their development.

Then a picture of the sign surfaced, establishing that what DiLuzio said to Dee is inaccurate. This is why Dee decided to part ways with DiLuzio, who then falsely claimed to have fired her.

Story #2. - In a conversation with me concerning the campaign sign, DiLuzio admitted that one had been placed at her front door. (Her front door actually faces her next door neighbor, and not the street.) According to DiLuzio, it was only there one or days, and then was taken down. She told me it was done mostly to taunt her next door neighbor, an ardent Hillary supporter.

Over the weekend, I obtained a second photo of a Trump-Pence sign at DiLuzio's front door. If you take a close look at it, you can see that  there are mums on the porch and flowers on a tree. This picture was obviously taken in autumn, around the time of the election.

Compare the second photo with the first. You'll notice the tree is bare in the first photo. Also, the porch is adorned with with an evergreen instead of mums. The second photo was taken at a different time of the year, most likely winter.

The second photo demonstrates that, contrary to what DiLuzio told me, that sign decorated her doorway at different times of the year, and not just for a day or two.

What she told me is inaccurate, to put it kindly.

This basic lack of honesty casts a dark cloud over DiLuzio's fitness as a prosecutor or in any other public office. The question now is not whether she should be elected DA, but whether she should remain as the county's Chief Public Defender.

If you need further convincing, look at the story below.

  3. Great point... how can one trust someone running for District Attorney that:

    * Lies about their political affiliation for the personal gain of herself, her husband, and her partner.
    * Spitefully and in the most petty way trolls their neighbor because of their political affiliation.
    * Lies about the sign when the truth comes out.
    * Has numerous complaints about her representation and ethics (google her).
    * Has only ever prosecuted ONE trial in her career.

This candidate had bad news written all over since they announced they were running. It's sad to see that it took this long for people to realize just how evil and unethical she is.

  8. Possibly the beginning of the end for the Diluzio name. We have heard some personal interactions about their characters and now we have witnessed it. The Bethlehem Police Union, as well as other police organizations, (Pennsylvania State Police as an example)have chosen to back ADA Terry Houck. Bethlehem officers frequently complain about their autocratic chief, but their union fails to address the issue, so takes action in another way. Nurio is not the person some thing she is. Possibly why a pizza business venture is in the works. Running campaigns and donating to candidates do not equate to success.

  9. Ho hum... another day, this time TWO postings signifying the increasing progressive, permanent disabling evidence of Trump Derangement Syndrome. Quick people, line Nazareth's Broad Street with Trump / Pence 2020 posters! He's literally writhing in agony now; let's finish this off.

  11. The question is not who is qualified, or conflicted, and who is not. There are 3 people in the race, yet one of them is using a disbarred alcoholic to do his dirty work, not unlike his predacessor , who lost every election that was not unopposed.

So the question becomes why is doing the same thing over and over not insane?

  13. Did Terry's new house in Forks with the hefty mortgage include a basement suite for disbarred bloggers, and is Terry leaving his wife home alone while the disbarred blogger occupies the basement?

Time for Terry to chime in

  15. Looks like the karma train has arrived for the DiLuzio’s, and it’s about time. Both flaunt around Bethlehem like they own the place while they have run many good people into the ground. Both are narcissistic, paranoid, spiteful, and unprofessional. Neither has been able to get where they are by any semblance of intelligence.

Everyone knows, whether they admit it or not, she is a horrible attorney. Maybe now that more people are starting to speak up, there will be a bit less fear of retaliation and the truth will prevail. Otherwise, if she would become DA, the tax payers are going to be covering a lot of legal fees when she continues to do people wrong with her personal vendettas. She has no qualities, professional or personality-wise that would make her a suitable candidate for DA.

Pay to play is what got both of them into their current positions. They both campaigned for and financially supported Donchez and McClure. As soon as Donchez won the election, Mark was telling everyone he was the next Chief of Police. And sure enough, Mark and Donchez successfully ran out the Chief and Deputy Chief at the Bethlehem PD. Both men are highly intelligent, hard working and deserving of the promotions they received. How do you go from a lieutenant to chief of police when you were never able to pass the captain’s test? Pay to play. And city council sat back and allowed this travesty to occur.

She immediately started to run the PD, telling Mark what to do, even using the chief’s executive assistant as her personal secretary. And, immediately the morale at the BPD went into the sewer. Want facts? Do a right to know request on the survey the department implemented. And make sure you get results for both of the surveys. Yes, there were two. I guess that’s what you have to do when the first one wasn’t to your liking. Funny how the results of second were no different.

This is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the horrid games that have been being played for years by these two. It is becoming obvious they have done a lot of people wrong. I’d say it is time for you both to scurry along... go run Martellucci’s Pizza into the ground. Karma!

  16. My God! I"ve contracted the dreaded TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome)!
I've been shown pictures which show obvious contradictions between statements made and facts.
No matter how many times I repeat the presidential mantra: "Don't believe what you see, believe what I say!", I still can't make 2+2=5! I must be helped!
To vote for this DINO who wishes to be DA I should repeat the second the second, more universal mantra: "They ALL do it!". Ahhhh...better. Me noe think so good now...hhappy smiel.

  17. Tom Benner, These stories have nothing to do with Missy Rudas or your hatred of her. Sounds like she represented her client quite effectively, and that's what really bothers you. You apparently think that your wife's lawyer was supposed to be a wimp. I have known Missy since high school, and there is no doubt in my mind that is a person of integrity. You are off topic and I will delete you if you continue.

  32. Thank you to the many many supporters who have called or messaged me in the past week expressing commitment to my campaign for Northampton County DIstrict Attorney. Attacks on my character and disingenuous remarks by my opponents will not stifle my voice or push me out of this historic election. Discussion of critical issues of criminal justice reform and creative and compassionate approaches to the opioid crisis and treatment for mentally ill offenders should not be drowned out by personal attacks.
Please join me in getting out the vote on Tuesday, May 21st and in being a loud voice for change in Northampton County.
