Morganelli Asks AG to Investigate Forgery Allegation

From DA John Morganelli: On August 10, 2018 the Republican Party of Pennsylvania requested both the Northampton County District Attorney's Office and the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General to investigate an alleged forgery of  2 names on a petition circulated on behalf of Libertarian Party Candidate for Congress, 7th District, Tim Silfies. After collaboration with the OAG, it has been agreed that the OAG will assume jurisdiction of this matter. I solicited the  OAG to  assume jurisdiction in order to avoid any actual or perceived conflicts of interest in the matter in light of the fact that I had been a candidate in the Primary Election for this position and my public support of one of Mr. Silfies' opponents. I thank Attorney General Josh Shapiro for his assistance.

  1. What is the basis for the charge of forgery? Is it only two names?

If someone is forging names, why only do it twice?

Will Shapiro actually investigate this? I have a feeling he'd be getting pressure from his party to make sure the Libertarian stays in the race.

  2. This is bullshit. Moragenlli wants Wild to lose. He wants to dump or tarnish the third party candidate enough so that he does not pull votes form Nothstine. O'Hare is helping as he is ripping the MC story and helping the cause to get Wild beat3en for Congress.

This is the standard MO for these guys. No one in the know is surprised by any of this nonsense.

  4. More than likely these two GOPers signed the nomination petitions with the intent on claiming their signature were "forged".

When has s 3rd party candidate who worked in the local television media run for office?

One with local roots who's mother also worked in the local television media and is president of the State Theater in Easton?

One who was a producer of the John Stossel show on Fox Business Network?

One who co-created the shows "The Independents" and "Kennedy" on Fox Business Network?

One who is personal friends with national television personalities like John Stossel, Kennedy and Judge Andrew Napolitano? All of whom could come in an campaign for their friend Tim.

Tim is out there each and every day banging on doors and spreading his campaign message of voting for something different then the broken two party system.
