What The Morning Call Omitted From the Ruckus Story
Ruckus is represented by none other than Mike Fleck, who is campaign consultant to Mayor Edwin Pawlowski, Council Prez Julio Guridy and Council member Cynthia Mota. You see, in addition to running political campaigns, Fleck works out business deals with the very politicians he helps elect.
He gets them on the front end and the back end.
This kind of business arrangement has trouble written all over it.

You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.
Completely untrue! If it was O'Hare would share why he knows this to be true. But he does not. Anyone else wonder why?
ReplyDeleteThis is called a paper llc with sielent holders and has been going on for years around here¿ They by it ceap than city funds pay big bucks to buy it back or steal it all the while personal gain is enormous for personal pockets with public funds¿
DeleteThe political parasitism grows with every day since the makeing of the Brown Hole Law passing was slide between the packet at the last minute on a friday in harrisburgs buget meeting¿
Completely true. Fleck and I talked about it. It's no secret.
ReplyDeleteHas he broken any laws?? You cannot continue to destroy reputations with these reckless and irresponsible assertions.
ReplyDeleteSite your sources....you can't!
ReplyDeleteDirty dirty dirty.
ReplyDeleteso he likes it in the front and the back - that should get the gay vote for his clients
ReplyDeleteSomeone needs to go to State Ethics Commission and fihd out if their are violation of State Law if Mayr is involved by checking his phone calls. Donovan in his campaign for Mayor should request all mayors phone calls, including his cell to find out if he has violated ethics laws.
ReplyDeleteThe Rich Fegley being pissed at the Mayor makes more sense now.
ReplyDeleteBernie, Thank You for the complete Story How can Lehigh Valley Leading Newspaper not include what you have reported.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what the price tag is on rehabilitating this property. Seems to me the site is no longer viable as a brewery unless it is completely rebuilt. I am always in favor of more beer - but this is another example of cronyism being used to snap up taxpayer dollars for personal profit.
ReplyDeleteIt's not illegal, as far as we know, but it sure stinks.
Just to think tens of millions of dollars of state revenue that would have gone to Harrisburg to pay for things like state police, education, etc.
ReplyDelete...is now going to pay to rehab a building that should have been torn down 30 years ago for a micro-brewery. Not a manufacturing facility that requires skilled employees or a headquarters with high paying jobs.
But a brewery.
And just to think we are considering mini-NIZ for all the third class cities.
I'm sure it's going to work out great.
"Site your sources....you can't!"
ReplyDeleteHow about Fleck himself. He confirmed it months ago.
I tried to read the Mcall article but was at my limit of 5 free articles.
ReplyDeleteAnother article I was not able to read was about newspaper subscription declines, go figure...
" You cannot continue to destroy reputations with these reckless and irresponsible assertions."
ReplyDeleteYou mean telling the truth s reckless ad irresponsible?
This is not illegal.
ReplyDeleteWow! It's so sad to see a once proud newspaper reduced to verbatim reciting of press releases with no in depth research and reporting. I don't even walk to the store on Saturdays to buy the paper anymore.
ReplyDeleteIt's a good story, but I think the Fleck connection should be noted.
ReplyDeleteFleckster can be seen from time to time at the Sands Poker room felting donkeys.
ReplyDeleteHet 10:13, they have been doing that for the last seven years for Stoffa. You don't see Bernie upset about that.
