The limited same-gender freedom to marry is a great and historic step, but is NOT full marriage equality, because equality "just for some" is not equality. Let's stand up for EVERY ADULT'S right to marry the person(s) they love. Get on the right side of history!
Full Marriage Equalityhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03029782688617414753noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9299655.post-51344334327883021002013-08-30T13:18:51.767-04:002013-08-30T13:18:51.767-04:00OT, but just heard that Lafayette has banned Catho...OT, but just heard that Lafayette has banned Catholic Mass from being celebrated in its interdenominational Colton Chapel, due to the churches opposition to homosexual marriage. It's nice to see a school whose early benefactors donated scholarship money, as long as it would not be used to educate blacks and Catholics, has returned to its intolerant roots. Liberals make the best bigots and get lots of help from religious Quislings like John Morganelli, who supports the death culture at every turn, from executions of the retarded to abortion on demand.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9299655.post-73481412396156316392013-08-30T11:09:34.086-04:002013-08-30T11:09:34.086-04:009:00

Then, he takes Holy Communion. What a phony piece of shit. I'm surprised one of his lovely offspring didn't pull another bullshit email snipe like the last time the sawed-off thrice loser ran for whatever he was running for that day. What a disgusting bunch. Ethics and integrity are not their strong suit.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9299655.post-12732116921319546372013-08-29T21:26:22.722-04:002013-08-29T21:26:22.722-04:00Unless he is running against someone totally incom...Unless he is running against someone totally incompetent, I would never vote for Corbett next year (nor did I in 2010). And, I am very open to listening to what Morganelli has to say in his bid for LG, because I think he has been a good DA. However, his rhetoric here is playing to the red-meat of the Dem base, no different really than Corbett or any other politician willing to say what he/she thinks will help win votes. That I do not like.

1.) Re marriage licenses. The quotes I read were not directly equating adult homosexuals to 12 year olds, but making a perhaps poorly worded argument that Commonwealth law is the law, and no local official has the right to openly defy it. One can advocate changing the law, but not openly defy it until it is changed. I suppose I would have to ask Morganelli: if PA were to legalize same-sex marriage, and a County official refused to issue those licenses because he/she thought the law was wrong, would he similarly defend such open defiance of the law as he apparently does now? Kind of ironic for a DA who has successfully built a reputation for being tough on crime.

2.) Re abortion, one is either for it or against it, and its not so neatly a Dem or Rep issue in a state like PA (e.g., Casey v Planned Parenthood)so waste of time to argue that one either way on LVR.

I know primary season is tough, because candidates of either party have to play more to the base, but please don't go too far left Mr. Morganelli that you lose the center voters who don't necessarily vote on social issues.Lighthousehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05346747286241817118noreply@blogger.com
