Bill White's "What Is It?" Offers Major Prize

Morning Call columnist Bill White's latest "What Is It?" feature is offering a major prize - lunch with His Eminence Ron Angle, as well as yours truly, to the lucky person who guesses correctly just what is in this wooden kit. Guessing it here does not count.

I was at Angle's home for dinner with Ron and his lovely wife Sharon on Sunday night. He's at DEFCON 2 these days, and it now takes about three hours to get through the gates, strobe lights and various searches. He collects all kinds of weird stuff.

I'm guessing it's a kit used in enhanced interrogation methods at the Angle compound as a penultimate stage of torture before waterboarding with bio-sludge?

He's been using it for that, but that's not it.

It is for sucking out infections used by doctors over 100 years ago.

However, who would want lunch with him? he was on Business Matters again with his buddy Iannelli. Not only has he attacked the Jews and the Blacks in the past but he is now attacking the people of the Muslim faith. You have to give it to the guy, he is consistent.

Yiou have no idea what you are talking about, on every level.

Is it the wine glasses that Gregory and Mezzacappa will use to toast his upcoming release from SCI Pittsburgh?

Tiny little domes of silence used to cover his ears whenever someone speaks ill of the ANIZDA.

No mention of the death of Elmer Gates. he was a legend in the Lehigh Valley. He helped many charities and brought about much of the economic development in the Valley. He was a doer and not a talker. He is also on O'Hare's shit list because he was the one man who when attacked by Ron Angle had the guts and money to fight back and won a settlement against the mouse that roared.

Your OFF TOPIC comment is flawed in several ways. First, I have written positively about Gates. I did so when he took Brown to task for government by consultant. Second, I had no perspective about him that was different from what I read in the mainstream. Finally, I would never say or do anything to detract from anyone's legacy. But you are using this businessman's death to attack me. What a sad person you are.

Elmer was a towering figure. And don't forget his contribution to the glue industry.

Bernie,
Love reading your blog, but actually having to listen to you during lunch...
Can I just take a cash equivalency? Say, $5? I would have just had a side order of fries anyway.

How about if Ron throws in a bag of sludge?

Reminds me of a Bell jar used for demonstrations on respiration. It is missing some parts that would represent the lungs which would fit inside the glass jar.

The large one is the size of Ron's sack, and the small one, Bernie's. What you then do with them is beyond me, but the climax of the party involves Ron and Bernie laughing their asses off, doing donuts in Mezzacrappa's former RAV4 through a field covered in sludge.

Seriously...no one figured it out yet? Inquiring minds want to to know.

Bill White will reveal the real answer in two weeks, when he returns from what MM claims is his 90th vacation this year.

It is a kit for Gaslighting.....not the Ingrid Bergman type.

Elmer was strangely silent about NIZ. It figures.

You think so?
I'm just a nobody, dinner with them, would be a waste of their time, but it would be interesting as hell to listen to these two. If I started talking I'm sure I would heathen rage as I have been made familiar with Gaslighting.
