Calling All NorCo NonUnion Workers

Although judges are seeking a 4.5% raise for their nonunion workers, there are numerous other nonunion workers in the County who could use a 4.5% raise, too. The County has failed to do a job study for years, and the only way to ensure some kind of parity in the workforce is an across-the-board wage hike.

County Council member Ken Kraft is poised to present a budget amendment seeking this kind of wage hike at next Wednesday's budget hearing. If you want to see this adopted, you need to be there to make your case.

Not one response. Guess they are all too busy to ask for a raise.

Sure... after attending a million meetings last fall, begging Brown to NOT change our medical, while getting trashed non-stop by the public, let's just go through it all again for him to not only NOT give us raises, but to probably take what little we have left away.

Please all Non-Union Employees attend this meeting! Your absence will speak volumes. It is just like those who complain about election results, but don't vote. Staying home, means it is o.k. to screw you again, since you really don't care. Tell you friends, co-workers, families, that everyone should attend. Bernie, I can't find the time and date for this. Please post. Please come out and at least show the county council that you are watching.

10:11. Most likely no one posted because those who work in career sevices work our asses off all day long without liesure time to hang out on blogs all day long. I hope that council can recognize the disparities and do the right thing. Thank you Mr. Kraft for gettingthis on the agenda. It's appreciated more than you know.
