It's Election Time

On my left sidebar, you'll see links to this year's municipal races in Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton, Northampton County and Lehigh County. As the races progress, I'll post links to articles about each of the candidates. The purpose is to provide you with everything you need to know about each of these races, and at a moment's notice.

If you have any suggestions for improving on this, please let me know.

I am amazed at what issues are not broached by the media and the politicians ... Can anyone explain why this is so... Who is orchestrating the silence?

I know who is qualified for office ... Who would serve the public and not serve the ones that keep the media whether electronic or print or the bloggers from writing a story on an issue... JR promised but did not deliver nor did BO'H.

I personally come from a line that was part of the events that decimated from the original Tea Party in Boston ... The Lehigh Tribe of the original Sons of Liberty were known as the Kohotas.

The Kohatas were big at keeping the Continental Army supplied with food and supplies ... Ever hear of the Declaration of Independence at Guthsville... The Kohota members of the Sons of Liberty put their mark on this document aimed at the Colonial State Assembly of PA to get with the program and place PA on side of the Patriotic side rather then the Loyalist side

I called down to the voter registration office about ten days ago and they said wait to come in til around the 15th of Feb. to pick up decarative paperwork as they were waiting for Harrisburg to send them this years filing protocols.

Sure, Dave.

What are you running for Dave?

Another term as a Bangor borough council person, fourth ward. Not sure if it will be a two or four year term just yet. I have a feeling I will be challenged as I won as an unchallenged write-in two years ago.

A good job to the elections commission for giving back to the people their rights.

They have decided to allow the referendum to go forward and the signatures are good.

Now once a judge tosses Black Hornets and Yuko's frivolous lawsuit the vast silent majority will get to vote on Gracedale.

Old Sneaky Stoffa will try to ram a sale down our throats before then but a judicial injunction should stop that nonsense in its tracks.

A great day to be an American!

A Happy American

You are completely OT and should have the respect to at least wait until I write about the subject before the usual smears at Stoffa. Is that so hard?

As for the injunction, you'll have two problems. First, you must prove it is likely you'll succeed on the merits, and that's doubtful. Second, you'll have to post a bond.

Get your check book out for the Gracedale bailout!

The silent majority may surprise you and be for a sale. Many of us, especially old coots, can't afford constantly increasing taxes, county wise or school wise. A county owned home may be a thing of the past. Most other PA counties have dumped theirs to their advantage,.

Actually Bill that is not entirely true. But we do give credit to Angle/Stoffa and O'Hare for selling that claptrap effectively.

This is all a ruse to get more money for some ventures that will cost you millions more in "real" county dollars for years to come.

Gracedales costs are mainly reimbursable to the County.

Drug Rehab Facilities and public health Departments will cost you big time.

What's going on in the Lehigh D.A race? Is Jim Martin really scurrying about contacting the Demo contributors begging them not to field a candidate?

Bernie O'Hare said...

I doubt Jim Martin scurries anywhere. I suspect Dems are having trouble fielding a credible candidate against a popular DA, just as Rs have a similar problem w/ Morganelli.

The Ds may have a major surprise for DA !!!! Maybe!!!
