Pennsylvania Super Bowl?

Andy Reid's sixth-seed Philadelphia Eagles have defeated the vaunted first-seed NY Giants, 23-11, in a physical, defensive struggle. The Birds will seek the NFC championship for the fifth time under Reid. That's pretty cool, especially since a few short days ago, supposed "experts" confidently pronounced there was no way the mighty Giants could fall twice in their own stadium and that Andy Reid is too fat to coach ... blah ... blah ... blah.

If Pittsburgh knocks off the Chargers (it's half time), a Pennsylvania Super Bowl - and possible civil war - becomes a little more likely. Steeler fans are pretty tough. I met a few over Christmas, and they eat venison, ride snowmobiles and sometimes shit in outhouses. But Philly's gangs probably have more firepower, so I'll remain an Eagles fan or move to Jersey.

Congrats to all the Birdboys out there. Giants no match today and the better team won the game. Good luck in the desert against the Cards and one Kurt Warner.

You are inappropriate and I don't think that picture came from the "lodge!" It is probably you when you were changing your clothes outside of the court house.

Brandy,

I know, I know. I didn't want to post that picture but your fiancee threatened to beat me. Umm, Go Steelers!

Yeah! Yeah! You are just lucky that I love you!

Fly Eagles Fly! I already told everyone I watched the game with - same seats next week, same clothes, same food, same drink, etc. Not that I'm superstitious or anything.

I'd like to call it, rooting against the Giants; instead of rooting for the Seagulls.

While walking in the National Mall in D.C. yesterday, I saw a "Ray Lewis for Prez!" t-shirt. What's this world coming to?

EAGLES! AHAHAHAHAHAH!

First the Phillies do the improbable. Could the Eagles?

I'll pray for your conversion.

And by the way, since when does Pennsylvania allow its citizens to be Cowgirl fans? Thank God I moved away!

you'll be praying for eternity.

You know, Pittsburgh and Philly both can't be in the Superbowl. Who will Gov. Rendell bet a cheese-steak with?

Fast Eddie, may want to put heat seeking warheads on "Pennsylvania 1".

You know the pimped out Caddy that he rides in at a speed fat enough to make the NASCAR race at Pocono!

Steelers fans may try to jump "the gov" as he wraps up "iggles post game live".

I hear Lynn Swann is threating to run for Governor if the Steelers loose!

Also as a long time season ticket holder to the PHiladelphia Soul (their Arena bowl win in July maybe the last ever in AFL history) were the first team to reverse the curse.

However as a diehard fan of Arena Football I hope to see Kurt Warner (the greatest player to come from the AFL to the NFL. Argubly the only AFL player to truly earn a spot in Canton.) win once more.

Spike, Do you like the Outlawz??

Bernie, please move to New Jersey. if it guarantees an Eagles win, I'm sure we would all help.

can the team that TIED the Bengals beat the Cardinals?

I'm rooting for the Eagles, but am no fan of their QB. What kind of football player picks up a phone on the sideline after a play? I mean, does he have that much energy left after that run that he didn't use trying to get a first down? If the Eagles win, it will in spite of a QB who is as hot and cold as anyone ever has been, very tough to root for him. but the Rest of the Team, they are worth cheering for.

i'd say, with assante samuel, the eagles aren't here. What do you think? I love westbrook though, even with a bad game, he makes the D focus on him and frees up others, a team player who doesn't complain. or focus the attention on himself, unlike McN, picking up a phone, give me a break.

No I'm not big on the Outlawz. Its one less player than AFL kinda makes it lame.

Also The stabler is awfull of Indoor football.

The posts in the one endzone is a bit comical.

I probaly will see the Outlawz this year though.

I'm freindly with a AFL nut in NJ who lives around the corner from where a team in the Outlawz division plays.

I may also go to one of my least favorite Cities on Earth. Wilkes-Barre to see Pioneers game.

Worst for the AFL the economy was the nail in the coffin. Rumors of embezzlement is what may have killed the AFL.

I could see Andy Reid drafting Tim Teebo next year.

I could also see Teebo caught in some sex scandal by the Philly Daily News tattle staff.

I like how the Morning Call couldn't find any Giants fans in Allentown for their front page article yesterday. They are here, trust me. Even if they ARE nowhere to be found today! Are they? Go Eagles! They play in the same state I live in.
